Update

I have been so busy with school work due to the stage change that I haven't really managed to keep my blog up to date. I have taken so many beautiful photos recently I really must upload some but it is hard to find a spare moment especially with christmas coming up. I can't believe that Megan will be 14 on Tuesday where does time go. Oh well, she really has turned into a beautiful young lady to be proud of, doing so well at school and with such a pleasant nature I couldn't ask for more.

Autumn

I can't believe that the summer has been (lol !) and gone already, we went out for a walk today and took loads of photos.Then we went to the graveyard for a while, it was a lovely day - looking forward to a few more days like this in Florence next week.

Another dull day

Oh well yet another grey day and nothing much to write about, Joan is coming for lunch and perhaps Christine if she can make it.I guess I better tidy up and remove Clare and Kiera from the floor downstairs where they have been having their sleepover.

Dull Holidays

The summer has been dull and miserable this year, not much to write about I haven't even taken any photos.Today and yesterday has been the first we have seen any sign of the sun.We are off on holiday soon and guess what the forcast is for rain - oh no !!

School Show

It's our school show tonight - Musical Genre ! My class are performing Motown songs, our afternoon performance went very well and I am sure this evening's performance will go well too. It's the hanging about waiting to go on stage and trying to keep the children quiet I don't like. For some reason my class seem to be particularly unsettled tonight - excitement perhaps!? The boys have taken it a little too far and appeared with full make-up .... not very Motown !! And they are not too happy at having to wash it off !! That's showbiz !!

Clare insisted I take this photo the night her Grandad died, both she and Megan were sure it was him.

Time Flies

I have been so busy lately there has been no time to post. We had Clare, Connor and Kaitlyn's First Communions, Nicola and Kerry's 21st, Reports, school outward bound trips, trying to finish chartered teaching assignments and then of course the very sudden and sad death of Stevie's dad who will be dearly missed, things are just not going to be the same around here without him.

Reports

I got a few more reports finished this week, enough to allow myself to go out for dinner with Joan and Christine tomorrow, can't wait to catch up with all Christine's news from her new school. Clare has had a few hair trials this week for her first communion, I must make a list of everything I still have to do !! Oh and Yeah, Megan gets her braces off tomorrow !!

Back to work

Well thats the end of the holidays, I didn't finish my planning, my reports or my essay so looks like I'm going to have a busy term. Missing Christine already !!

Four Leaf Clover

Clare found a four leaf clover while out playing today, she was delighted, lets hope we have a luckier year than last.

At the beach

We took Clare to the beach yesterday before picking Megan and Jo up from the airport. It was certainly a lot colder today than it has been, looks like the next week of the holidays is not going to be so good.

Jesus on a tree

I took this while out walking in the Campsies last week. There are lots of these carvings hidden in the hills sometimes you just walk right past them.

Dancing Success

This is going to be the last page I post today. I thought i'd better include this one as it has been one of our highlights of the year so far. This is Clare winning her under 9 NCH at the All Scotland.

And Julianne can't read this because she is in Ireland at the moment but our fingers are crossed - wishing you the best of luck at the All Ireland tomorrow xxx.

Friends

It was so nice to see the sun once again - and be on holiday !! Jo and I took Clare and Kiera out for the day (Megan was at a sleep-over). We went to Mugdock country park then on to the Campsies. I love walking in the Campsies and of course taking photos. Clare is going to love it when Kiera moves to our estate this week - her best friend there to play with every day !

Just look at the mess Clare is getting into with that cone, great photo opportunity for me though (lol) I was too busy snapping to even get her a hankie, good job auntie Jo was on hand.

New Blog

I decided today that my old blog had to go, it was too busy and disorganised, so I am starting all over again although I may upload some of the older pages later. I'm starting with a spring layout using Monica Larsen's A New Time. The photos of Clare and Keira were taken at Mugdock Country Park, this has been the nicest Easter Break I can remember.
